Drop The Gloves: Canada's Toughest Hockey League

With my new found love of hockey (thanks to Auston Matthews), I bring you a pretty amazing documentary about something I had no idea existed: the LNAH (Ligue nord-américaine de hockey).

The LNAH has been called the toughest league in the world. Whereas the NHL averages around 0.3 fights per game, LNAH audiences are treated to more than four per game, with no shortage of bench-clearing brawls, fan fights, and, of course, poutine. The LNAH is being pressured to follow the NHL’s lead and finally crack down on fighting. VICE followed the Laval Prédateurs during the playoffs, a team struggling to deliver the fights their fans pay to see, while trying to step up their game.
